How proud can a mother be? Ask me and I will tell you!

Poem Artwork

My daughter is so beautiful

She stands out in a crowd.

To know she is a part of me

It makes me very proud.

Who would think this child of mine

Whose candy ridden face

Would grow into this lovely state

So full of power and grace?

She's not a wimpy little girl

The girl that I once knew

She's now a woman, strong with might

With values straight, centered, right.

Outspoken, knowing how she feels

Not pushed or shoved under someone's heels.

A fighter for her goals in life

The mountain, no longer strife!

Yes, this is my little girl

And she still calls me Mom.

Years have passed, she's grown in kind

With the meeting of the minds.

We've changed, we're now the same

We are on an even plane.

This is beautiful as is your daughter Joyce, but i look on with sadness at this time, knowing how things are with my own daughter...Her birthday today, and she dosent want to see me, because I wont bow to her ridiculous demands, oh one day i hope to write a tribute like this, with the past behind us, and being on an even keel

Bless you Joyce, perserverance pays off.
Love Ch'erie
