For the first time since The-Hit-and-Run Man, revised and with added material, was re-issued as an Amazon ebook, monthly US sales in February topped UK sales, an achievement for a British author. Though only an English language version is available, sales have also been recorded in France, Germany and Italy. Ebooks share of the books market in the UK rose to 29% in 2013, as ebooks become ever more available. A Kindle is now no longer a necessity to enjoy Amazon ebooks.
