Murder in the Slaughterhouse has been awarded a Bronze Medal in the action/thriller category by the Military Writer's Society of America.
At their September 2015 convention in Phoenix, Arizona, the Military Writer's Society of America (MWSA) awarded a Bronze Medal for writing to Tom Crowley in the action/thriller category for his book Murder in the Slaughterhouse. This follows on the MWSA picking the book as it's Book of the Month recommendation in April 2015.
The MWSA was organized in 1998 by a group of writers who were Vietnam veterans and wanted to promote writing by the military and about the military as an ongoing remembrance project for the those American's who died in service to their country.
