I started with a simple question: what if I had a mission in the mail everyday? Doesn’t need to be a big thing. It’ll motivate me to get to do something different everyday.
This time, it wasn’t a request from readers or comments on Facebook that got me into "I got to fix this" mode. I'm human too and sometime I need a serious kick to get going. Some days it’s easier to just chose comfort over challenges and I just get down the lazy spiral like anyone else, but I never refuse a sane challenge.
Asking friends to send me stuff to do daily is ridiculous, not because its asking a lot, just because they wont keep up. I see this like the gym. That one-day you skipped, makes it easier for you to skip again the second time and so on. After a week of that going you can forget about getting back to it. You justified that it’s OK to skip everyday since that one mishap. By being accountable to someone you just can’t just get out of it that easily. Recently I just tested the theory. I was constantly going to the gym and pushing them to go regularly. One day I stopped. Apart from one of them, all have been skipping the gym ever since.
Why I’m I saying that? Well, to be honest, I have to say that I’m one of those guys that read Emails as I wake up and I thought that morning, what if I had a mission in the mail everyday? Doesn’t need to be a big thing. It’ll motivate me to get to do something different everyday.
How it works is very simple. I've set up an Email list for you challengers to subscribe to. Loaded with daily missions based on the same principles as the Click here book, but the daily ones are shorter and require a lot less planning - obviously.
These short missions are going to come in every morning at 6 AM and will sit there waiting for you to take it. For the mission to be complete you have to meet all the conditions required in the mission statement.
The mission, if you accept it, will challenge you to do a simple task every day or ask you to alter something from your daily routine, challenging the way you do things and hopefully expand your comfort zone day after day.
One important note, from the day you subscribe the missions are going to flow in. People are subscribing to the list on different dates which means that they’re daily challenge is going to be different than yours. Also, since anyone can start at any given time there is no way I can be thematic and be sending you stuff that has a link with the current season or holidays. I’m stressing this because you may find yourself in a situation where you won’t be able to take a mission.
The mission Email title is obvious such as “Mission 001” and will be sent by me directly. In it you’ll have the mission objectives/target with a single button at the bottom that says {I Accept}. So far so good right? Then you have all day to complete the mission. To report completion you can fill the mission completion form or just share on social media. That’s it.
The ones that manage to go through all the missions will be rewarded
That’s a James Bond Confidence Boosting Challenge it’s not easy. You need assurance and willpower to be able to go through it.
