Odd how we walk a path that we never had dreams of traveling down and our lives change.
I'm a co-founder to Authors Without Borders (www.awb6.com) with three other women. We discovered each other in 2007 at a library with book signing.
After talking and introducing ourselves, we agreed that writing was the fun part, but it was the marketing and promoting that was hard.
We joined forces and now teach other writers the problems we ran into beginning, which direction is better to take, and just having time to learn who is doing what, and what is and isn't working for each of us. Guess you call that networking.
That's how our group got started for supporting each other when we get down, or someone sends us information to help us on a project.
Hope many of you think of this avenue to look into for help and growth.
