Jan Harvey has won a £100 prize at The Chipping Norton Literary Festival for her short story,'Ghost'
Commenting on Jan Harvey's prize-winning short story,'Ghost,'judge, Martyn Waites, said: 'Loved it. A near textbook example of using minimalist storytelling to excavate emotional depths. It is a story of emotional involvement and character.'
Jan won a cash prize of £100.
Jan's competition success comes on the back of her first novel being launched earlier this year. The Seven Letters has achieved over a hundred reviews since publication in March, 95 of them are five star.
