Author Diana Furr is selected by "Knotty Girl Loves" charity to participate in 3-Day retreat honoring breast cancer survivors.
Knotty Girl Loves, a charitable organization educating women about the life-saving value of monthly breast self-exams, will hold its Second Annual Mountain Retreat in Murphy, North Carolina over the 2017 Labor Day weekend.
Diana Furr, one of the members of Authors Den, has been selected as one of the breast cancer survivors who will be honored with the gift of this year's retreat. The costs are fully-funded by businesses and philanthropists who want to bless BC survivors with this opportunity to Reconnect (with what's important), Relax (from their battle) and Exhale (in ways that breathe life into others).
Diana's book -- "Victory in The Valley - 7 Secrets to Overcoming Life's Worst and Savoring Life's Best -- was published May 1, 2017. It chronicles her journey through not only the Valley of the Shadow of Breast Cancer, but also Valleys of other kinds in life. In its pages, she offers a mega-dose of Hope to readers in whatever Valley they may be in right now... or whatever Valley they may be, unknowingly, about to enter.
The Knotty Girl organizers are looking forward to having Diana share her uplifting story with the other survivors at the Retreat.
