With a nationwide shortage of American flags, kindergarten students at Numa Elementary School took matters into their hands and created their own. A handful of the nearly 95 children, who made flags at Numa recently, show off their handmade symbols of patriotism. In back are Susie Harrison, with her daughter Heather (parent assistants), Ms Zamora, and Mrs. Leavitt (teachers).

Major League ballplayer Justin Moore is kidnapped from his own ballpark and transported to a foreign land. It might take high-level international negotiations to free him. Or maybe he will take matters into his own hands.
