I have won! I completed my goal of writing a 50,000 word (175 page) novel in one month a week early!
I wrote some great stuff, and I wrote some crap. The main thing is, I have a first draft to work with now - spotted with holes, full of mistakes and also beauty, full of promise. My first novel I worked on for three years and still don't have a first draft. Now I've written a first draft in a mere three weeks and with a four-month old. I couldn't ask for more.
