Anoop Chandola's "The Dharma Videos of Lust and Bust: A Novel of Religious Mysteries" has placed as 'Finalist' in the 'Religious Fiction' category of the Best Books 2006 National Book Awards.
"Yes. He appreciates that Hinduism does not have an organized church. And he likes the liberalism of the Bhagavad Gita. Every path leads to the Lord. But you know, he doesn't want the U.S. president to say 'God bless America! in a secular democracy," Kranti said.
"Priests are leeches who suck the superstition-rich blood of the believers."
The bulk of the collection is eight short stories that are set in yesteryear. The compilation is filled out with four entertaining fantasy pieces and three poems.
