An ideal icon is needed for Miami Beach Lincoln Road.

Madame:

Namaste.

As you know, James Corner's current landscaping plan for Lincoln Road has drawn mixed reviews. The pros equal the cons, equaling mediocrity.

Most of all, the landscaping needs a an exotic icon. The iconic sculpture at the entrance to South Beach at the end of the MacArthur Causeway brings Romero to mind.

I believe Romero would agree that chic Lincoln Road not only needs an icon, but that it should be not only sexy but sacrosanct as well.

Wherefore I recommend a lingam-yoni sculpture based on the sacred icon of Shaivism. Siva as everyone knows usually comes with Shakti.

What many Westerners are not consciously aware of is that the female is active and the male passive in oriental culture. That is why Kali stands on Siva's dead body.

Please let me know if Romero would be interested in being commissioned to create a Lingam Yoni Icon as a centerpiece for Lincoln Road's new landscape. I shall fervently advocate that the commission be offered to him in that event.
