The state of Sennar has the characteristics of animal husbandry, especially sheep, and the amount of water it enjoys has led to the spread of pastures, with rich grasses and we also find a plant cover with lush green
trees which spread in vast areas and on the banks of the Nile and valleys, and they are good food for goats.
Agricultural residues also have obvious contributions to breeding. We also find in the state, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock a special section of animal production and veterinary medicine and cadres qualified and trained and enthusiastic for projects that achieve great success
This section is led by Dr. Amna Awad, and the head of the ministry in the state,one of the Sudanese scientists in the field of agricultural production and animal Dr. Radwan Mohammed Ahmed.
Their supervision of animal and agricultural production represents 50% of the success of the project.
In Faid Alrahma Charitable Organization, we are advancing the project of raising 1000 goats for the ownership of the first stage and our full plan to raise 5000 goats on modren
By bringing male goats with good strains and in coordination with the competent authorities. This project will achieve positive results

5- Empolyment of livestock workers.
6- the empolyment of graduates, especially holders of certificates of animal production - veterinary, business administration, computer and accounting.

Location: Senga - suitable for water availability from the Nile and the streams and provides agricultural residues and suitable climate.

The primary number of goat project is 1000 goats plus natural generation 1-2 per year

Annual expenses = 5,451,000 pounds

Annual yield = 5,218,000 pounds
Annual profits = 391,500 pounds
Average profitability = 38%
Refund period = 3 years
Care and breeding of goats:
Sudan has a number of goat breeds, Nubian goats, and is spread in the northern regions, The predominant color is black, medium pods, long hair and long legs.
The average weight of the male 40 kg and the production of milk per day about one and a half liters
There are also desert goats and the predominant color is dark brown or yellowish brown,
Hair is short, average male weight is 40 kg, and female is 35 kg.
There is also a small indigo goat weighing about 25 kg.
(A) the type of green fodder, such as clover or AbuSubain:
Goats usually need about 3-4 kg of green feed a day, The young goat less than one year of age needs about 1.5-2 kg of green fodder daily,
B) Type II Concentrated fodder consisting of oilseed meal + table salt + limestone + corn + wheat bran, goat needs about 1.5 - 2 kg a small one less than a year needs half that amount .
(C) The need for water in each fold. 9
1 - cycle of fattening: usually 3-4 months is buying a goat a year or a year and a half, the weight of 25-30 kg. After the end of the period of fattening weight up to 40-45 kg (average weight increase daily from 200-300 grams)
2 - Fattening needs to have good barns and the cleanliness of the first manure and veterinary care and hygiene .
3- To improve the productivity of meat or milk, it is recommended to raise damask goats And mix the damascene goat with local breeds، Indian goats weighs 50-60 kg, French and Angolan.
The goats breeding, fattening and the invariant rootstocks costs
2.1 Feeding:
Small goats will be purchased from improved breeds for meat or milk and housed in municipal barns and fed with green, concentrated feed and water.
1000 goats worth 500,000 pounds + 10 imported male goats worth 200,000 pounds.
2.2 Production per year:
1- Assumptions 1000 goats with a ratio of more than 2%.
2- Each female gives birth once a year
3- Birth rate 66%
4- Production per year - 1000 * 66% * 98% = 640 goat
5- female number = 320 goat
6- males = 320 goat
7- Females will be included in the female herd and males fattening within 6 months and weighing 35 kg. The goats will be raised in municipal sheds to provide the appropriate climate.
Transport and Distribution:
Semi-Transport Truck = 300,000 pound Purchase Value or (Rent).
Communication Devices = 5,000 pound.

1- inputs of breeding and fattening of goats: Purchase green fodder and concentrated fodder consisting of corn, corn, bean peel and food salt
2- Purchase of goats for the first cycle:
