The scale of this attack proves the uncontrollability of ISIS and the grave irresponsibility of manipulating it in the service of geo-political interests and power-political gambles. There is no greater threat to Islamic civilisation today than the renegate "caliphate" of ISIS and Wahhabi apostasy. There is no greater threat to world peace today than the resurgence of facsist forces and doctrines in West and East. There is no greater threat to global stability today than the artificially prolonged conflict and proxy war in Syria. The massive wave of war refugees is creating a global humanitarian catastrophe and global imperialist war sprouts terrorist networks like mushrooms. This is playing into the wrong hands. Be sure about one thing: the impact of this attack consists in the repercussions it produces. The lives of people in this world are being wrecked, marred and crippled by decades of confrontation: war as a policy, terrorism as a policy, mass surveillance as a policy, crisis as an institution. It is highest time to understand that a) the idea of installing proxy governments in Syria (and Iraq, etc.) is not feasible, b) there is no solution to the Syrian conflict that does not involve Russia and Iran and c) no ISIS basis must be left standing and all forces must be united in eliminating these poisonous weeds to the last man. The realisation that a change in thought is a necessity of survival is as crucial as it is inevitable, from grass roots level to the top echelons of power.
From the land of the milked and honeyed here’s a few political faux pas and a bit of attitude exposed to the harsh light of a Canadian who actually has their own opinion.
