Steven E. Wedel has been writing for a long time and often learned the hard way how important it is to follow guidelines when submitting to publishers and contests.
Then, when he became an editor and contest judge himself, he learned just how frustrating it can be to receive material that does not follow the established guidelines.
You are invited to attend the November meeting of the Enid Writers' Club to listen to a short presentation in which Wedel will discuss the importance to following publishing and contest guidelines.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 in the Cherokee Strip Conference Center, 123 W. Maine Ave., Enid, Okla.
