After favorable reviews and word-of-mouth publicity, Right Ascension has steadily climbed the Amazon.com bestseller lists. In January of 2010, it reached the Top 500 out of over 400,000 e-books in the entire Amazon Kindle store. It also reached #14 in the "Science Fiction" category (#5 if free e-books are excluded). Finally, it climbed all the way up to #2 in several sub-categories, including "Adventure," "War," and "Technothrillers."
