Kathryn M. Shanahan, a Merchantville native and novelist, will appear at 7 p.m. Monday at Merchantville Reading Center, 130 Centre Street. A 1985 graduate of Merchantville School, Shanahan is the author of Brianna's Escape, her first published work.
