I have been asked to participate in an Author Reading Event for a Fundraiser to be hosted by the Ontario Archaeological Society.
Dear Ms. Cannon,
I am writing on behalf of the Hamilton Chapter of the Ontario Archaeological
Society. The Executive would like to extend an invitation to you to
have an "Authors Book Reading Event" to raise funds for the local
society. I can't think of anybody more appropriate for this event!
Fiction, native mythology, archaeology, and contemporary issues. We
would like to have this event in March if possible. The details can be
worked out once we have our author!
We would like to choose a venue close to the University. The event would
include a 'book reading'; autographs (please!); food; door prizes. We
would also like to have copies of the "Raven's Pool" and "White Raven"
available for sale. A modest honourariam would also be available to our
honoured speaker.
We would very much like to hear from you to find out your availability or
to choose a date that is more convenient for your schedule. Once we
confirm your availability, we can begin planning this event in earnest.
