A Book Release Party for Bert G. Osterberg's OUR SILENT SONG was held January 31, 2004 at Bert's on Broadway in Downtown Detroit. This well-attended event drew notice from the local news media and was a grand start of Mr. Osterberg's book promotion. Food was provided by Cari Mitler and music by "Three Quarter Step" with Roger Tucker and Ken "Spider Webb" Rice. Members of the historic Ferguson/Lacen family were there along with many other guests.
