Snow is an old coal mining town where the beauty of winter is celebrated in their name and the unique shops that sell handcrafted wood ornaments, fused glass, books, notecards, Sheila’s collectibles and more.
Snow began as the setting for a short story I wrote one Christmas which was later incorporated into the CHRISTMAS QUILT ANTHOLOGY. I revisited Snow for an adult romance short story, and love the atmosphere, the characters and the lovely sentiment that exists in the names of the shops and businesses -- like the Snickerdoodle Bakery, Wonderland Bookstore, and Season's Greetings Gift Shop.
It's just one of those winter wonderland type places you enjoy visiting year after year, and this year the shops have opened for business on the internet.
