When Cheyenne stole a customer’s ring off the table, only Roxie was aware of why Cheyenne was trying so hard to get arrested. Of course, it was just Cheyenne’s luck that she stole from Prince Kareem bin Ishmail of Zahara; he had her released from jail and then demanded that she travel home with him as either his wife or his prisoner. Given this scenario, Cheyenne felt she had no option but to marry him while in flight from Washington to Zahara. Now Zahara had a new princess and future queen, and she was given few rules—never go anywhere alone and project the image that their marriage was a true one. Just two rules—of course, she could not be expected to do as she was told! Ms. Tamelia Tumlin has created a great first novel; her plot is fresh and appealing and her cast of characters gripped this reader’s interest as well as evoked a myriad of emotions. There were many surprising actions throughout this story, and I appreciated the trials not only Cheyenne, but also Kareem, had to face. This is an interesting book which I am sure you will greatly enjoy. Ms. Tumlin, in my opinion, has a grand future with her storylines. I believe this author could become addictive! The “Prince of Thieves” is a novel about a woman named Cheyenne and her four year old son Cody. Cheyenne works in a small restaurant and she is a single mother. She struggles to provide a healthy life for her son. Her son, Cody has a physical condition that she can not afford to have fixed and his life is at stake. Cheyenne decides to do the unthinkable, get arrested. She then works on a plan to get arrested to save her small son’s life and ends up in jail, but not long enough. Her plan turns for the unexpected and her life is put into the hands of a Prince and she is taken to a foreign land. Keeping her Son and his condition a secret she must find a way back home, to find her son and help discover a way to save him.Her whole life she had always been independent and always had things in her control, but when her plan blows up in her face and takes a turn that will set many sets to a new destiny in motion she has to just go with the flow until fate plays out its course.
I am not normally into love or romace stories, but this one had class, and I enjoyed it very much. This author has written a fine book, with a wonderful plot, unique and perfectly woven.I give this book a Giant thumbs up! I really enjoyed this book and would read it again and again.
