Several Northwest Association of Book Publishers appeared on MetroEast's on a special edition of Senior Showcase describing the organization and the member's works.
Dr. Linda Beattie Inlow, treasurer for the Northwest Association of Book Publishers and eidtior of their newsletter, Publishers' FOCUS, appeared recently on a special edition of MetroEast's Senior Showcase.
She and several board as well as general members discussed the function of NWABP. The group meets the last Thursday of the month at Fairfield Inn in Portland, Oregon. Each meeting offers an opportunity to network with other publsihers as well as vendors intrinsic to the publishing world.
During the interview she was also able to mention some of her titles including Kalama, Washington: Fun, Facts and Folkore, Making the Most of Your Llama, Making Soap for Fun and Profit as well as her two interactive workbooks for children and adults - Becoming ME, which guides the reader/author to relate their personal journal.
The show will air during October and November throughout Oregon and SW Washington on several cable stations.
