I have been asked by the President of The Friends of the Library in my town to write a script for a murder mystery dinner for their annual banquet in late October. This is an entirely new area for me but I am going to give it a try. I told her that if I didnt have at least 1/4 of it done by the end of August I would let her know and she could get someone else.
Has anyone else ever written this sort of thing?
I have looked online and it seems to be fairly easy to do. It appears to be basically a story outline. Not much dialog, the characters are developed mostly through the actors (I just have to create a basic personality for them for the actors to go on.) a plot, and clues. I will be given credit for it and my books will be mentioned.
It really sounds like a lot of fun will let you all know how it works out.
