Dr. Putman will be lecturing on Bipolar disorder to the Austin Area Christian Counselors Group this September.
Dr. Putman, practicing psychiatrist and author of Rollercoaster: Finding and Treating Bipolar and Other Unstable Mood Disorders, will be sharing his experience in diagnosing and treating Bipolar and other mood disorders with this group of professional therapists and councelors who have a spiritual foundation in their practice. Dr. Putman is a former consultant for the Samaritan Counseling Center and later served as chariman of the the board for that not-for-profit counseling center. He practices general psychiatry in Austin, Texas.
