WTKF 107.3 serving Eastern North Carolina featured Beverly Slomka, author of "Teens and the Job Game: Prepare Today - Win It Tomorrow" on the Coastal Daybreak show. Bob Ball, host of the show, asked Beverly why she wrote the book that focuses particularly on the development of teens' "whole person" for the workplace. Mr. Ball asked Beverly why she thought high school and college graduates today are not prepared for the workplace. He also asked how new employees can deal with the need to express their own ideas, against the backdrop of the workplace environment that requires the employee to work within its culture. Mr. Ball also directed listeners to Beverly's website where there are career and job resources for teens, as well as guidance counselors
