My "Pearls" |
I entered my poem "Pearls" in Post Poems Poetry contest quite some time ago.
I recevied a notice that it was being selected to be published in a book.
After giving my permission, months went by and I forgot about it.
What a surprise when I got home on Christmas Eve to find a package containing the book with my poem in it!
It's hard covered, two hundred twenty-one pages titled "The Colors Of Life -
The International Library of Poetry"
I am so proud and so is my family. Of course they're all asking "How much?"
I hesitate, smile and shrug. I then say "It's enough that it's in there"
Me, published?
Unbelievable, but I'm so thrilled and I feel famous!
