It was a joy to read Silver Creek by Melinda Kaye, and it kept me wanting to read more to see what would happen next. This is the story of Kaye Leigh Rutherford, a Christian romance novelist, for whom things seem to be going so well. Then turmoil enters her life when her ex-husband contacts her and she receives some devastating information. Everything seems to be falling apart around her, and she lashes out at her husband, family and friends in her anguish, as well as at God. The faith and love of her husband, Jeff, her children and close friends help her as she struggles to know who she can really trust. This is a wonderful story of love and forgiveness, emphasizing the importance of trusting in God for guidance and keeping a steadfast faith.
