'Blacktop' is a terror-filled road trip atop the dark, isolated backroads of West Texas. Equal parts action/adventure and sci-fi/chiller whodunit, it guides readers through a shock-filled maze that spans three decades, beginning with the hijacking of a commercial bus and concluding with a furious Battle Royale pitting the ultimate in extraterrestrial evil versus the few survivors of that initial abduction.

  Along the narrow, oft-flooded path to survival, the most unlikely of heroes will emerge even as those initially pegged as villain will find their roles dramatically flipped for self-preservation's sake.
