Hall, a contributing editor for Film Threat, is also the book editor for the New York Resident weekly newspaper and serves on the Governing Committee of the Online Film Critics Society. His film journalism has appeared in the New York Times, New York Daily News, Wired Magazine, HotWired.com, American Movie Classics Magazine, Video Librarian, Tower Records Pulse! Magazine and the Organica Quarterly. Hall has written two books about independent films: "The Encyclopedia of Underground Movies" and “Independent Film Distribution: How To Make a Successful End Run Around the Big Guys.”
