Mankato's tri-annual alumni magazine published a 1,500 word essay in it's May issue. The piece highlights the author's ongoing quest during college that led to his writing now.

The point to note for would be writers (and readers alike), is to never give up.
Through interviews with Lauren's doctors, along with those of other physicians, researchers, and clinicians who specialize in lung cancer, readers will have a better understanding of the disease.
