Screenplay Contest Winner Announced

Harry and Elizabeth Lawrence, co-authors of "It Had To Be Us," announced the winners of their first Screenplay Contest today.

Diane Pollock of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will receive a $50 Barnes & Noble gift certificate plus an autographed copy of Confessions of a Movie Addict, which Elizabeth wrote under the name of Betty Jo Tucker.

“Diane’s screenplay adaptation of a short section from Chapter One of our little romantic memoir contains camera shots and emotional responses by Harry’s character that would make the scene come to life on screen,” Elizabeth says.

As for Harry, he’s also pleased. “Diana indicated that Robert DeNiro should play me,” he states. “How could I not be happy?”
