This is the second award for the recently released biography of the legendary actress Amanda Blake known worldwide as “Miss Kitty” from the classic western television series Gunsmoke. The show aired on CBS twenty years playing to an international audience estimated at 850 million and continues to be shown in syndication fifty five years after its 1955 premier. Perfectly Amanda: Gunsmoke’s Miss Kitty includes many Gunsmoke memories and answers the three questions most often asked of Miss Blake: How did you get the part of Miss Kitty?
