Moonsword has been announced as one of the final ten nominees for a 2004 Spectrum Award. The Spectrum Award goes to the outstanding science fiction/fantasy novel with a gay, lesbian or transgender theme. Such a nomination is a considerable honor, a fact that is not lost on Diana Hignutt.
