The Rocky Mountain Unit of  Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic RFB&D is celebrating its 55th Anniversary this year. And this fall,  the Executive Director, of RFB&D, Betsy Boudreau and Chris Ransick, Denver's Poet Laureate are organizing the first "Colorado Poets Lend Their Voices to RFB&D".

This literary event is scheduled for October 5th, 2006 from 9AM to 7PM. Colorado poets, including myself, will be reading for the Rocky Mountain Unit of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D) lending Colorado's poetic voices to digitally record textbooks for students of all ages who are blind, visually impaired, dyslexic or physically challenged.

Poets will be recording on location at the studio located at 1355 S. Colorado Blvd., Building C, Suite 406. The public is invited to meet with and listen to Colorado's finest poets read from the studio's digital recording booths. For those of you that wish to come down to meet me, I will be reading from
3pm to 4pm, October 5th.

RFB&D is the only nonprofit organization in the country recording textbooks for students of all ages who are blind, print impaired or physically challenged.
