SmatteringsBooks releases Farm Stirred Recipes, A Western, NY Cookbook in time for Home Grown Books debut at Clarence Hollow's Farmers Market June 21, 2014.

A true miricle-- SmatteringsBooks overcame many hurrdles to release this 600+ recipe cookbook. An overworked CPU caused the index and table of contents to be all done manually. (The CPU does the math. Every index entry was off by 1 or 2 or 3 pages.) So the index covers some entries that could never be done using an auto index.

The mothboard shorted itself out the day we were ready to publish. The first three motherboards ordered had to be returned. The new power supply was too rich for the old hard drives. The old hard drive's bad sectors changed our heavily formatted file on every save leaving both partners frantic.

By the middle of April the computer responsible for book formatting was repaired, new software installed and the files that took month's of loving labor were corupt.
