In a article I posted on poetry, I want to clear up, no I have not decided to quit on my poetry. My main objective are my novels. As I write, I have been compiling my old LIBRARY OF CONGRESS poems that were published for visually impaired. The question is: "Will I have enough poems to make a small volume". I do NOT plan on publishing every poem I wrote, some of them are very clumsy in format. If I can "clean them up"--fine. The book when published later, proceeds will benefit a worthy and over-looked charity, neglected pets and to support an organization that does not believe in killing them due to overpopulation. How would you feel with our population growth, if the government decided to narrow your family down, because you had too many children? It is the same principle. The slaughter of innocents. I know poetry does not sell. It belongs to a very select "niche audience", but even a hundred dollars is better than nothing.
