Writing constantly evolves, changes--it is a living thing. When I published my book of verse BROKEN WINDOWS REFLECTIONS OF A FOOL, little did I know.... BROKEN WINDOWS was published in "book" form for the first time on 11-18-09, and it is already in need of a change. Book Two contains all the poetic chapter headers to my novels, finished/unfinished. I axed FALON RISING for personal reasons and put it on the back burner for another day and began a new book that speaks to me, SHADOWS. I am using the chapter headers for FALON RISING in the new book, thus, BROKEN WINDOWS REFLECTIONS OF A FOOL is incorrect. It doesn't really matter because neither FALON RISING or SHADOWS have been published yet. There are still in the first draft stage. And later I may have more poems for another volume (which is doubtful, I started out in my teens as a poet, as reflected in BROKEN WINDOWS, but consider myself a novelist).
I could pull BROKEN WINDOWS, despite the fact it is published and make minor revisions, but the cost and dropping my current project makes it a difficult decision, as the changes are so minor.
