The Time Cavern Author Challenges Readers To Complete Online WebQuest

Minneapolis, MN –  Todd A Fonseca, author of the juvenile fiction novel The Time Cavern released June 22, 2008, has challenged readers – How Smart Are You?  In the spirit of Dan Brown’s DaVinci Code WebQuest, Fonseca’s website Click here presents readers with a WebQuest that starts simply but quickly grows in complexity.  Drawing upon the themes from the novel upon which it is based, the WebQuest requires readers to decode the questions hidden in logic puzzles and subsequently answer these questions to move forward through the quest.

“Similar to the novel, I wanted to not only entertain but educate younger readers on the website,” Fonseca commented.  A clinical research director for a Neuromodulation medical device company studying deep brain stimulation for a variety of applications, Fonseca relied on his scientific training to create the WebQuest content.

The Time Cavern features the adventures of a ten-year-old boy who discovers a century long mystery in rural Amish country.  Compelled by his curiosity, the young protagonist must piece together clues to solve the secrets of a long forgotten cavern.  During his journey, he learns about Amish culture, astronomy, and science all the while going through the growing pains of transitioning into becoming a young adult.
