Felicity’s father, Hector Montgomery, is not a nice person.

He has spent practically all of Felicity’s life grooming her for stardom. He has embezzled all of her childhood earnings, despite being compelled to put her earnings into a trust fund for her adulthood.

And he’s a gambler.

He borrowed money from a loan shark, and that unscrupulous creature now wants his money back. If he can’t get it from Hector, he’ll  find a way to get it from or through Felicity.

But Hector is oblivious. He can’t see any relationship of the two events. Not that he’d care. All he’s interested in is ripping off money from Felicity. He’s not particularly interested in her welfare, unless it effects him financially.

He is not a nice person, and he’s an even worse father.
