Visions Title Set for October Release

The winner of Connect Savannah’s Award for “Best Poet/Spoken Word Artist of 2006,” Aberjhani has teamed up with Great Britain’s BPS E-Publishing for the publication of his long-awaited title, Visions of a Skylark Dressed in Black .

“This is an extremely exciting venture on so many levels,” said Aberjhani. “Essence Magazine has been publishing work from the Visions manuscript for several years, so it’s good to see it going to publication in such an innovative and accessible format. The work itself is an innovative one that includes a novella, short story, and fifty-five poems.”

A number of the poems, he added, pay tribute to such iconic figures as Coretta Scott King, Gordon Parks, and Langston Hughes. Some of them debuted on his Black Skylark Z-Ped Music Player site but will only be available in full in the e-book once it is published.
