From the Preface by Editor Katherine TracyAlthough I had just moved from Southeast Louisiana before the wind and rain of Katrina gushed through the region, I felt the pain and hopelessness of humanity through friends, family, and breathtaking images splattered across the screen by the media. Born in New Orleans myself, it will always be home, and that is how this anthology came about. This collection is dedicated to all of those affected by Katrina [August 2005] and all profits will be donated to Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild the area.
