My latest book Extraordinary Visits, Miracles through Divine Intervention was released the end of July, and it's been a State of Confusion on my end since then.  Seems I'm not the only writer/author who is going through the same situation; however, in the meantime I am hard at work writing articles for news media, magazines and ezines.  Setting up websites and promoting the book are my primary concern right now; but I am also trying to enjoy what I'm doing, even in the midst of chaos.  Having fun at our craft is important, and must be part of the process coupled with the tedius work after the book has been published. 

Managing websites, book signings, writing media outlets and sending complimentary books and press releases have become the latest chores on my "to do" list.  Writing?  Are you kidding?  When will I ever have time to simply finish working on my second book, or fine tuning the other two mystery novels that I've been working on for the last couple years?  There are times now that I wish my kids were back home again so I could assign them tasks....like running a home business with them as the poorly paid staff, and me the hard hitting boss giving orders on how to promote me at their Little League, Soccer, Basketball games and Cheerleader practices.. I could have one draw posters and make copies and they could have their friends take stacks and staple them to telephone poles and laundry room bulletin boards.  They could write an essay on my book for their class assignment, and invite me to their "Take a parent to school Day" or better yet.... they could have me speak to the PTA and insist that they sell my book instead of those k-jillion boxes of cookies and candy bars as fund raisers....   Oh well... I'm dreaming again.....

I hate to beg; but sometimes it just gets easier with time.... so... how about if you enlist all your friends and family to go to my website instead of yours??  Charity begins next door sometimes....right?  Well,  You could have them all "track" me.... Afterall, I've never been tracked before...clean criminal record...so far!  You could also tell them how to visit my sites by clicking a link and instead of them spending money on silly things like hair and nails and fancy cars or gentleman clubs for lunch.....they could buy my book!!!  It's getting close to the holidays again, so shopping is simple.... purchase my books in large quantity, and you'll have plenty of time to gift wrap them and give them to those special people on your gift giving list.
