Life is a miracle; and I collect the happenings that occur in our lives that are considered divine interventions, ie; miraculous occurrences that result in positive resolution. Sharing true stories of myself and others in order to inspire, uplift and generate hope is the journey that I am currently documenting.
My life has been blessed with a successful business career, raising a family, and enjoying a long and fulfilled marriage. After the nest was empty, the career ended, and my soulmate passed away, I realized that it was time for me to make my own personal writing dreams a reality.
The tears still flow, the laughter erupts at silly times; and I am dedicated to touching, tasting, smelling and enjoying every minute left in my personal book of life.
Birth Place: San Antonio, TX usa
Accomplishments: Received the MOTHER OF THE DAY award from my children in 1980. The kids awarded me ONE day in the life and times of MOM...cheez!
Oh..but I was THE Betty Crocker Future HOmemaker of Tomorrow...Martha Stewart would laugh at that one! I didn't cook or sew etc til I was in my 50's!(I think they chose wisely..modern women stopped cooking;microwave,TVdinners,etc).. NOVEMBER NOVEL MONTH (The Swan & The Frogs) in 30 days Certificate/published 2005. Working on my DOCTORATE OF LIFE, which is ongoing.
In ancient times I was Art Editor & Co-Editor of my HS yearbook, and Newspaper, where several of my drawings and articles were published.
Education is ongoing... some college...lots of special courses & certificates...mainly "writing" courses or computer courses (always top of class...but pc illiterate at home! duh...)

Currently writing Book 2 & 3 of Extraordinary Visits, which will include many true stories contributed by ordinary people who have had extraordinary visits resulting in positive resolution in their time of tribulation.
In the midst of these works, I am also writing two murder mysteries; one set in a Texas town, and the other in Arizona.
Writing songs and poems is also a personal love; and I especially enjoy laughing and seeing the humor in most things, even when times are difficult.
NOTE: I am collecting true life stories where you or others have experienced a miracle through divine intervention, resulting in positive resolution. Submit max of 2500 words, for consideration to be accepted in one of the series to Extraordinary Visits being collected at this time. If selected, you will receive recognition in the book, and also a signed copy upon publishing. I look forward to hearing from you! |
