It is with humility and pride that I report that my poem,  "Appreciate the Purple Heart," appears in The Price of Freedom, a patriotic anthology compiled by poet, writer, and editor Richard Lee King.  The publisher is Diamond Rhodes Publishing of Jensen Beach, Florida.  Should you read the book -- and I hope you do --  you will discover I am in stellar company.   
Like Richard Lee King, several contributors are Authors' Den members.  

The book is inspirational and educational.  As is only fitting, considering the project was inspired by a desire to  honor a Vietnam-stationed soldier killed in action while serving his country.    It was also inspired by a King's wish to celebrate and promote patriotism in the U.S.A.
