The third 100 Year Star Ship Symposium was held in Houston on September 19-22, 2013
For the past two years I have had the privilege of attending an international symposium led by Mae Jemison, M.D., a former astronaut. Dr. Jemison has received a grant from DARPA to develop a structure for preparing to go to the stars within one hundred years.
This audacious undertaking began with these two symposiums involving people of all backgrounds from everywhere on the earth who are interested in the possibility and the work toward coming up with the means to travel to the stars.
I've had the wonderful opportunity to share my first two books and discuss ideas with the fantastic assembly of people of like mind.
