Although Amy Bishop had many questions for me and spent about twenty minutes interviewing me, she only had about 3 minutes of air time so my comments were not broadcast, but she did put a nice little inset about me in the accompanying article.
I had a very good time giving my books away to people with disabilities and signing them with special messages to each. To cover expenses for our sponsor, VSA Texas, I collected about $350 worth of donations. If an Abilities Expo comes to your city, I encourage you to attend the free event, because you will find many assistive technologies and other assistance that not only helps the disabled, provides great help for our aging population, as well.
