After nearly three months, my newest novel, Thing Bailiwick; A Collection of Horror, has finally received its first review. I never know how readers will receive my writing. It’s unorthodox. It’s unconventional. It’s unchristian. It’s uneverything. They might consider it the scribblings of a moron or the scribings of a genius. One never knows. So when a book critic writes that it’s “one of the most powerful collections I've read thus far” it gives me hope. That my work is validated in this fashion is encouraging indeed.
