A new study has shown that omega-3s supplementation, which has been shown in numerous studies to reduce the risk of a heart attack, work at epigenetic level in addition to the many known effects on blood fats and coagulability. I co-wrote The Eskimo Diet all those years ago, which introduced the lay public to the benefits of omega-3s for the first time. The message was subsequently confirmed and adopted by national health advisory bodies in the UK, US and Australia.
