South Florida’s South Beach has long been the perfect resort for all sorts of runaways. This is a rare story about one of them, my next door neighbor, true in the telling but for her identity. Tracey Flagler was in fact a beautiful young woman who arrived with dreams of fame and fortune, the sort of dreams many girls have in this amazing world of ours. Those dreams do not include working for a living, as Tracey and her peers must do to survive until they become movie stars or meet the man of their dreams; she had already had a taste of stardom, working briefly as a double for a movie star. She hoped to meet hers serving wealthy gentlemen in high-end South Beach restaurants. Otherwise, in her off hours, she read Oprah magazine, watched Oprah on television, was indoctrinated by The Secret, and prayed to strange spirit guides for the realization of those dreams, including being a famous guest on Oprah’s show. She met a drug dealer instead of a wealthy gentleman; therefore the tragedy set forth in this book, including quotes from her notebook found after her apparent demise. This book was concluded when she was taken away by an ambulance for Good. I since discovered that she was reincarnated out West, where she met a devout Christian man, was Born Again, gave birth to and is raising marvelous children. She treasures, nonetheless, her memories of South Beach to this day. Read all about it in our own words.
