I am an independent columnist who watches MLP-PPA tournaments and takes pleasure in writing about the battles that stand out to me. That’s what I did for the most part in the year I spent with Pickleball Portal. Then as now, my columns are short, substantive, fun, easy to read, and concentrate on the action on the court, disregarding topics such as fashion, paddle brands and technology, off-court drama and gossip, sponsorships, branding, pickleball pop-culture, tips and advice, etc. You can find that information everywhere. I’d rather pull into focus the sport itself: among other things, the players' performance, the mental and physical demands, how the players respond under pressure, how the crowds interact with the athletes and how the athletes use the fans' energy as fuel. If you would like to read that kind of commentary, follow the link. https://sites.google.com/view/davidboyle/pickleball-columns
As always, thank you for your time and attention and for reading. I hope you enjoy my pickleball writing as much as I enjoy coming up with my own ideas and putting them into words for your pleasure and entertainment.
