Many people get angry with me because I suggest there is but one God and He is revealed in His book, the Bible.
This has been a problem since mankind was tempted and fell in the garden of Edin.
We all have had different life experiences and training, and have our own little quirks and bad habits which we will not give up at any cost.
(The cost can be very, very high!)
Like the man who refuses to give up smoking, when his doctor advises him he will die if he doesn't.
It's my contention, we should 'study to show ourselves approved, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed'.
We need to study the scriptures daily to see if what we are being told is the truth. There are many, many lies out there which masquerade as the truth. The only way we can protect our selves is through prayer and the study of God's word.
Work and study like everything depends on you, pray like everything depends on God!

(I do have many from the Bible also.)

You may not want to hear the truth.
You may not believe the truth when you hear it.
That doesn't change the truth!
